Lil Scoot (Smarty)
is one of the top cutting horses in history. In 2002 he won three major cutting
horse competitions in a row - The NCHA Super Stakes Classic, The NCHA Classic/Challenge,
and the Brazos Bash. Smarty has career earnings in excess of $266,000.
Smarty possesses all the qualities of a truly great cutting horse. His trainer/rider
Roy Carter puts it best. "Smarty is the best horse I've ever been associated with.
He has great balance, intelligence, quickness and strength and he never gets fooled
by a cow. The only way he makes a mistake is if I make a mistake." |
